Ok, so I know that people say that the movie is poor or whatever, but seriously DON'T listen to them. This is the type of cornball entertainment that rainy afternoons had been created for. When he initial appeared on screen, murmurs of "It's Barney. It's a 'I can't read fast enough, oh God what's going to happen, tears welling up, epic' ending. My daughter and her friend loved it and drooled over the main actor. Beside the poor acting, the plot was also a small draggy, lacking in climax and actual emotion. I had to wait a couple of weeks after it came out to actually see it, but it was worth the wait.
